| Abstract: | Tématem bakalářské práce je Judaismus a křesťanství tradice a zvyky (srovnávací analýza): Chanuka a Vánoce. Na téma svátků židovských či křesťanských existuje již mnoho publikací, proto jsem se rozhodla nezaměřit se na svátky pouze jedné strany, ale pokusila jsem se dva konkrétní svátky porovnat a zjistit, zda existují jejich společné znaky, symboly. V první kapitole jsem se nejprve zaměřila na obě monoteistická náboženství, poté v dalších kapitolách stručně popsala liturgické roky. Důkladněji jsem se poté zaměřila na svátky Chanuka a Vánoce. Výsledkem bylo zjištění, že Chanuka i Vánoce jsou svátky velmi významné pro své věřící. Jedná se ale o svátky, které jsou rozdílné, smyslem k sobě nepatřící, přesto si pro symbol světla blízké. Mnozí věřící na obou stranách se této blízkosti snaží dnes využít. Snaží se rozšířit povědomí o náboženských tradicích a zvycích, tím odbourat nedůvěru a předsudky, nejčastější zdroj nepochopení. Pokouší se překonat netoleranci minulých tisíciletí. Chanuka a Vánoce jsou jistě pro své věřící poselstvím radosti naděje a světla. |
| Abstract in different language: | The topic of my thesis is Judaism and Christianity in particular a comparative analysis of the traditions and customs of Christmas and Chanukah. The main focus of the thesis is a comparative study focusing on the two customs to find possible similarities and differences in these long standing religious traditions. The first chapter describes the mono-theological religions of Judaism and Christianity, two of the world's most populous religions. The following chapters provide more insight into the liturgical calendars and continue to look at the annual celebrations of Christmas and Chanukah. The conclusion of this thesis deals with the importance of both of these traditional celebrations and customs. The thesis discovers the differences that divide these celebrations but also the shared characteristics connected by a symbol of light. Many believers are trying to use the similarities between these traditional celebrations in order to broaden the knowledge of religious customs and thus eliminate potential prejudice, mistrust and the intolerance of the last millennium. Chanukah and Christmas are certainly sources of hope and light. |
