| Abstract: | Ke zpracování mé diplomové práce jsem zvolila ilustraci a grafický design celé knihy. Cílem mé diplomové práce bylo vytvořit ilustrace a design obálky knihy. Pro tento účel jsem si vybrala titul Dudáci a vlčí hlavy od Zdeňka Šmída. Toto téma pro mě bylo tím nejlepším způsobem, jak využít všechny své předchozí zkušenosti z ateliéru ilustrace. Kniha obsahuje příběhy z Chodska, věnuje se tradicím, folklóru a lidovým zvykům. Příběhy jsou psané s nadsázkou s humorem, pohádkově, popisují Chodsko jako tajemný region, kde tradice a folklor stále žije. Konečným výstupem diplomové práce je ilustrovaná kniha. Pro tuto knihu jsem malovala 22 ilustrací, ze kterých byly vybrány ty nejpovedenější, dále jsem si navrhovala obálku knihy a pracovala na typografii a grafické úpravě knihy. |
| Abstract in different language: | As my diploma thesis I have chosen illustration and graphic design of a whole book. The target of my diploma thesis was to create illustrations and cover design of the book. I have chosen the title Dudáci a vlčí hlavy (Pipers and wolfs head) by Zdeněk Šmíd for this purpose. This topic was the best way for me how to use all my previous experience from my atelier of illustration. The book contains stories from the region Chodsko. This book is dedicated to traditions, folklore and folk customs. The stories are written with hyperbole and good-humoredly, fairytale. The stories describe Chodsko as a mysterious region, where traditions and folklore are still alive. The final outcome is an illustrated book. I painted 22 illustrations for this book and then I chose those which turned out to be the best. I also designed the cover for the book and worked out the typography of the book (a dust-cover, a cover sheet and the overall typography, graphic design). |
