| Abstract: | Velmi často a velmi spekulativně mnozí autoři uvádějí a dokládají, že v Jaltě západní spojenci vydali, či lépe řečeno prodali své středo a východoevrospké spojence Stalinovi. Předložený článek se pokusí prokázat, že proces „přenechání“ části Evropy komunistickému Rusku započal ještě před vstupem SSSR a USA do války, tedy v roce 1941. Snaha zalíbit se Stalinovi – donedávna Hitlerovu spojenci – spolu s levicovým viděním světa vedla amerického prezidenta ke snaze vyloučit v co možná největší míře z jednání nejen britského premiéra, ale i Kongres a ministerstvo zahraničí Spojených států a dohodnout se o všem rovnou se Stalinem. Důsledky tohoto jednání si F. D. Roosevelt údajně uvědomil až krátce před svou smrtí. V Jaltě a Postupimi již bylo na případnou nápravu jeho chyb pozdě… |
| Abstract in different language: | Many authors have reported that the Western Allies at Yalta sold their Central and East Europian partners to Stalin. This article tries to demonstrate that the process of "abandonment" of this part of Europe to Communist Russia began even before entering of the USSR and the USA into the war, so in 1941. Trying to please Stalin - Hitler's allies recently - along with left-wing vision of the world led the American president to attempt to exclude as much as possible of the meeting, not only the British Prime Minister, but also Congress and the U.S. State Department and to agree about everything with Stalin. Franklin D. Roosevelt supposedly realized the consequences of this meeting until shortly before his death. It has been possible to rectify his error too late at Yalta and Potsdam... |
