| Abstract: | Ústředním tématem této práce je popis historie, růstu a pozoruhodností města Haifa. V práci je popsáno geografické zařazení města, jeho první osídlení, historie středověku a novověku, dále je popsán vývoj města během světových válek a další část je věnována jeho pamětihodnostem. Práce si klade za cíl podat ucelený obraz o městě a to z různých hledisek. Především popis jeho vzniku, historie a růstu. Součástí tohoto celku je také přiblížení některých zajímavostí města, doplněné o fotografie. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main topic of this bachelor thesis is a description of history, development and monuments of the city Haifa. The thesis contains information about geographical classification of the city, its first settlement, the medieval and modern history, afterwards the development of the city during the the world wars is described. The susequent part is devoted to its monuments and sights. The aim of this thesis is to provide an overall image of the city from various viewpoints. These are primarily the origins of the city, its history and development. Another part of this thesis comprise the curiosities of the city supplemented by photographs. |
