Abstract in different language: Our first impression on digital games is that they are a "waste of time" oreven "sources of danger". However, digital games require from users to develop special skills to accomplish puzzles, levels or goals. Being at the same time extremely engaging and entertaining, they could be easily used to produce a more efficient educational framework. This paper analyzes the characteristics of the digital game and proposes some key factors to be taken into account for its integration into the learning process.
