Abstract in different language: This contribution deals with an assessment of the impact of selected additives on properties of composites, which are composed of polyethylene polymer matrix and halloysite nanotubes as a filler. Attention is paid to the impact of the selected mixture of additives on dielectric properties due to the use of tested composites for insulation systems in electrical engineering. The experiment is based on a comparison of the results of measurements of samples, which are divided into two groups. The materials in the first group contain a certain amount of additives and in the second group are materials without additives. Both groups include neat polyethylene and composites with three levels of filling with halloysite nanotubes. Different levels of filling are important for detection of the influence of additives on the interaction of polymer matrix with a different amount of filler. Evaluation is performed based on measurements of breakdown voltage, measurements of charging current and broadband dielectric spectroscopy.
