| Abstract: | V roce 1985 nastoupil Michail Sergejevič Gorbačov na post generálního tajemníka Komunistické strany Sovětského svazu. Během jeho vlády se vytvořily příznivé podmínky pro samostatnější politiku zemí východního bloku. V roce 1989 vyvrcholila nespokojenost s vládnoucím režimem také v Československu. K městům, ve kterých v roce 1989 probíhaly demonstrace, patřila i Plzeň. Diplomová práce se zabývá událostmi, které revoluci předcházely, a zejména pak samotným průběhem listopadových revolučních dní ve městě Plzni se zřetelem na demonstrace, počínání opozice režimu a jednání KSČ. |
| Abstract in different language: | In 1985, Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev took over the post of Secretary General of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. During his reign, favorable conditions were created for a more independent policy of the Eastern bloc countries. In 1989, dissatisfaction with the ruling regime also culminated in Czechoslovakia. Pilsen was one of the cities where demonstrations took place in 1989. The diploma thesis deals with the events that preceded the revolution, and especially with the course of the November revolutionary days in the city of Pilsen with regard to demonstrations, the actions of the dissent and the actions of the Communist Party of Czechoslovakia. |
