| Abstract: | We describe a component based data management and visualization system called DaMaViS. Important aspects of our system are the component based client-server-architecture and its flexibility and reusability that are guaranteed by applying generic data structures for storing and representing data as well as using CORBA (Common Object Request Broker Architecture) for the communication between server and clients. With DaMaViS it is possible to handle almost every kind of data. |
