Abstrakt v dalším jazyce:	The focus of this text is corruption and clientelism in communist society. General knowledge about corruption is defined in the context of the communist regime and this is further specified using the example of Czechoslovakia. The theoretical framework of this text, which stems from the neo-institutional basis which was constructed during the first part of the work, was used for the clarification of corruption in Czechoslovakia. The primary aim of the text is to answer one main question – what were the structural (both institutional and cultural) prerequisites for the spread of corruption in communist regimes?
