| Abstract: | Studie je zaměřena na dění v premonstrátském klášteře v Teplé u Mariánských Lázní v období po druhé světové válce. Významný západočeský klášter měl v první polovině 20. století pověst německého kláštera. Po válce tak Teplá čelila sérii snah o konfiskaci a hrozbě definitivního zániku. Vedením kanonie byl premonstráty pověřen mladý osvobozený vězeň nacistických koncentračních táborů H. J. Tyl. Jeho úkolem bylo odvrátit hrozbu konfiskace, obnovit duchovní službu regionu a učinit z kláštera české kulturní a duchovní centrum. Sérií opatření, převorovým charismatem a jeho známostmi se podařilo udržet klášter v chodu až do plošného zásahu komunistické totality proti všem mužským klášterům v Československu v roce 1950. |
| Abstract in different language: | The paper focuses on developments in the Premonstratensian monastery in Teplá near Mariánské Lázně in the period after the World War II. This significant West Bohemian monastery had a reputation of a German monastery in the first half of the 20th century. After the War, Teplá faced a series of attempts for its confiscation and dissolution. H. J. Tyl, young liberated prisoner of the Nazi concentration camps, was appointed the leader of the Canons Regular by the Premonstratensians. His task was to counter the threat of confiscation, restore the spiritual service for the region and convert the monastery into a Czech cultural and spiritual centre. Through a series of measures, Prior’s charisma and his connections, Tyl managed to keep the monastery in operation until the communist intervention against all male monasteries in Czechoslovakia in 1950. |
