| Abstract: | Předmětem předložené studie je představení našich dosavadních znalostí o tomto tématu. Celkem byly analyzovány tři stratifikované soubory pocházející z města Chrudimi (Filištínská ulice, Hradební ulice a Masarykovo náměstí). Pro srovnání byl zařazen i menší soubor stavební keramiky ze zaniklého benediktinského kláštera v Podlažicích a nový objev novověké polní cihlářské pece u Medlešic. Databáze stavební keramiky po odečtení všech atypických zlomků čítá 442 položek. |
| Abstract in different language: | This article sums up information about the use of bricks and building ceramics in an area characterised by a sufficient amount of building stone. Although bricks and floor tiles in Chrudim sporadically appear in layers from the 14th century, no stone buildings from the period have survived. One specific feature is the use of terracotta reveals in the 16th century. The production of bricks is evidenced for the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries by archaeological finds from nearby Medlešice. |
