| cs |

dc.description.abstract-translated | The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate motor imagery of a movement on the EMG device and its use in practice. The thesis focuses on the study of activitiy of the biceps brachii muscle during motor imagery and pressure variations. The Trigno Wireless EMG System and sensors from Delsys were used for realization of the practical part of this the-sis. The movement tested was drinking from a glass, the motor imagery of this mo-vement, its observation and monitoring of this movement performed by the second limb projected in the mirror. The results of the work show that the activity of the monitored muscle displayed on the EMG device during the motor imagery is very low and it does not fully replace other facilitation techniques. This thesis serves mainly as a source of information about neural structures that are involved not only in movement but also in imagining or observing such movement. During the motor imagery, exactly the same cen-ters as in the actual movement are being activated. | en |
