| Abstract: | Těžištěm výzkumného snažení bylo experimentální testování metodologie výroby kovů a kovových artefaktů a replikace archeometalurgických procesů v několika kontrolovaných tavbách. Cílem bylo experimentálně zhotovit bronzové artefakty různého typu a funkce (sekery, meče, nože, srpy) na základě předloh z dokumentovaných archeologických lokalit. Testovali jsme jak „laboratorní“ přístupu s využitím moderních technologických postupů, tak „historický“ přístup s využitím pravěkých technologických postupů. Výsledkem je celkem patnáct artefaktů (čtyři meče, čtyři sekery, dva nože, pět srpů) a získaná zkušenost s bronzovým materiálem, která se dále uplatní při experimentálním užití replik. |
| Abstract in different language: | The focus of the research effort was the experimental testing of the methodology of metal and metal artefact production and the replication of archaeometallurgical processes in several controlled smelters. The goal was to experimentally fabricate bronze artifacts of various types and functions (axes, swords, knives, sickles) based on templates from documented archaeological sites. We tested both a "laboratory" approach using modern technological procedures and a "historical" approach using prehistoric technological procedures. The result is a total of fifteen artefacts (four swords, four axes, two knives, five sickles) and the experience gained with bronze material, which will be further applied in the experimental use of the replicas. |
