| Abstract: | Výzkum paměti a jejich míst proměnil studium historie a postupem času se etablo val ve vědeckém prostředí. V příspěvku jsme aplikovali Norovu koncepci míst paměti, která je do jisté míry vázána na národní rámec, na českou společnost. Místa paměti reflektují minulost a vypovídají o vztahu společnosti k dějinám, jako jasně exponované objekty jsou bezprostředním a cenným zdrojem přemýšlení o kolektivní paměti a zároveň jsou jejími přímými aktéry. Příspěvek se zaměřuje na české projevy historického vědomí ve vztahu ke čtyřem německým místům paměti na Brněnsku. Paměť je zkoumána prostřednictvím míst paměti, tj. připomínání ve veřejném prostoru. Studie analyzuje příčiny, poukazuje na iniciativy, vztahy mezi většinou a menšinou, které se prolínají při vytváření a uchovávání menšin paměti. |
| Abstract in different language: | Research on memory and its sites has transformed the study of history and over time has established itself in the scientific environment. In this paper we have applied No ra’s sites of memory concept, which is to some extent linked to the national frame work, to Czech society. Sites of memory reflect the past and testify to society’s rela tionship to history; as clearly exposed objects, they are an immediate and valuable source for thinking about collective memory, and at the same time they are its direct actors. The paper focuses on Czech manifestations of historical consciousness in relation to four German sites of memory in the Brno region. Memory is explored through sites of memory, i.e. commemoration in public space. The study analyses the causes, highlights the initiatives, and the relations between majority and minority that are intertwined in the creation and preservation of minority sites of memory. |
