Abstract in different language:	This article point out on importance of non-financial aspect of business performance. Research confirms that non-financial performance determinants either directly or as an intermediary mechanisms affect financial performance, however it is also interesting to ask whether these non - financial performance determinants and financial performanc e alone are also affected by the company ́s own characteristics. The research in this paper aims to explore the relationships between company ́s own characteristics as company size or legal form and the evaluation of its impact on financial and non - financial performance. To verify whether on business performance has significant influence value of the qualitative character analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used. It was confirmed that none of the evaluated areas are affected by the country in which the company o perates. Other characteristics defined play a role in at least one area of business performance.
