| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá porovnáváním moderních metod IMRT a 3D-CRT při plánování radioterapie karcinomu prostaty. Karcinom prostaty je nejčastějším nádorovým onemocněním českých mužů a je také třetí nejčastější příčinou úmrtí na nádorové onemocnění u českých mužů. Bakalářskou práci dělíme na dvě části. První část zpracovává teorii, která pojednává o anatomii, patologii, klasifikaci a úloze radioterapie při léčbě karcinomu prostaty. Druhá část bakalářské práce je kvalitativní výzkum. Výzkum porovnává moderní metody využívané při plánování radioterapie karcinomu prostaty. Během výzkumu jsme zjistili, že IMRT je metoda, která je konformnější, než metoda 3D-CRT. Bylo potvrzeno, že metoda IMRT umožňuje více šetřit rektum, dále pak také umožňuje více šetřit močový měchýř. Bylo též potvrzeno, že metoda IMRT umožňuje více šetřit i hlavice femurů. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor thesis inquires into comparison of modern methods of IMRT and 3D-CRT used for radiotherapy planning for prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common tumorous condition of Czech male population and it is also the third most frequented cause of death for Czech men. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is theoretical and it is focused on anatomy, pathology, classification and the actual role of radiotherapy during the medical treatment of prostate cancer. The second part is devoted to the qualitative research. The research compares modern methods used for radiotherapy planning prostate cancer. During the research, we found out that IMRT is a technique that is more conformal than the 3D-CRT technique. Since it has been confirmed that the IMRT technique allows us to save more of the rectum and more of the bladder. It was also confirmed that the IMRT technique allows more saving of the femoral head. |
