Abstract in different language: | Computational thinking and digital literacy are concepts that are nowaday very popular with the professional and lay public. Teachers at elementary and secondary schools should develop these abilities in pupils, not only in the context of computer science, but teachers often has no ideas how to do that. The article is devoted to the methodology developed within the diploma thesis at the Department of Computer science and Didactic Technology of the Faculty of Education of the University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and it can be a certain inspiration for primary and secondary school teachers (not only) informatics. Testing took place within two project days at Aš Gymnasium, and thanks to the case study, it was possible to analyze the methodology backwards. The general aim of the methodology was to support computational thinking through the solution of a specific problem connected with the construction and programming of children's own Lego robot. |
