Abstract: | Středně manganové oceli patří do skupiny vysokopevných ocelí třetí generace, které vykazují vynikající kombinaci pevnosti a tažnosti. Zvolení správného legování i parametrů interkritického žíhání, zejména teploty ohřevu, vede k získání dostatečně stabilního zbytkového austenitu, který výrazně ovlivňuje mechanické vlastnosti. Zbytkový austenit během deformace za studena vykazuje tzv. TRIP efekt a přispívá k výraznému deformačnímu zpevnění materiálu. |
Abstract in different language: | Medium manganese steels belong to the group of third generation high-strength steels. These steels show an excellent combination of strength and ductility. Their manganese content is around 3 to 12%. After hot forming, their structure is mostly formed by a martensitic matrix. During intercritical annealing, martensite is reversed to austenite. The choice of the correct alloying and parameters of intercritical annealing, especially the heating temperature, leads to obtaining a sufficiently stable retained austenite, which significantly affects the mechanical properties. Retained austenite during cold deformation shows the so-called TRIP effect and contributes to significant deformation strengthening of the material. Medium manganese steel with 0.2% C, 5% Mn and 3% Al was chosen for the experiment and subjected to various intercritical annealing regimes after hot forming. To increase the stability of the retained austenite, isothermal hold at different temperatures was performed in the bainitic transformation region. To verify the effect of deformation, a variant with inserted incremental deformation during cooling was also tested. After processing, martensitic structures were obtained with varying portions of bainite, which was supported by the holding time at 425°C, ferrite and residual austenite. The yield strength reached up to 1940 MPa with an elongation of about 10%. |
