| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím Iyengar jógy k prevenci involuce. Teoretický obsah práce zahrnuje popis osoby B. K. S. Iyengara a jeho směru jógy, involuce a kognitivních funkcí. Iyengarova jóga je založena na preciznosti pohybu. Jóga má blahodárné účinky na fyzický a psychický stav člověka. Věkem se však fyzický a psychický stav člověka mění. Involuční změny zasahují kognitivní funkce osob. Věk tedy může ovlivnit paměť, receptivní dovednosti a osvojování informací, přičemž kognitivní funkce hrají důležitou roli v životě seniorů. V praktické části bakalářské práce byly vyšetřeny kognitivní funkce seniorů pro porovnání, jaké výhody přináší cvičení Iyengar jógy pro kognitivní funkce. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor thesis deals with the use of Iyengar yoga to prevent involution. The theoretical background of the thesis includes a description of B. K. S. Iyengar and his direction of yoga, involution and cognitive functions. Iyengar yoga is based on precision of movement. Yoga has beneficial effects on the physical and mental state of man. However, with age, the physical and mental state of a person changes. The evolutionary changes affect the cognitive functions of the persons. Thus, age can affect memory, receptive skills, and information acquisition, and cognitive functions play an important role in the lives of the elderly. In the practical part of the bachelor's thesis, the cognitive functions of seniors were investigated to compare the benefits of Iyengar yoga practice on cognitive functions. |
