Abstract: | Disertační práce se věnuje rozvoji algoritmické složky informatického myšlení. |
Abstract in different language: | The dissertation focuses on the development of the algorithmic component of computational thinking. The main objective was to determine how students, without prior teaching or experience, would handle a testing set of tasks. The testing set included tasks with gradually increasing difficulty. Based on the results obtained from the testing set, observations, audio and video recordings of the students and their screens, as well as the input and output form results, we described how students approach solving tasks and their problem-solving attitudes. Additionally, we connected this information to results from subjects, gender, student-assessed levels of experience, and more. Furthermore, we compared the results with the original testing set of tasks, which was used to study the development of abstract thinking in students of the same age. We then compared the students' results across different sets of tasks. In the case of comparisons, we described the problems students encountered during task-solving, typical solutions to the tasks, and how far they progressed in solving them. We also compared the overall results from the entire testing process. The testing was conducted with students of the same age and at the same school as the original research to ensure the most similar research sample possible. |
