| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá spojovacím způsobem (konjunktivem) v současném anglickém jazyce. Je zaměřena jak na konjunktiv prézentu tak préterita. Popisuje jeho historický vývoj, tvary i používání. Analýza zkoumá četnost jeho výskytu i výskytu alternativních konstrukcí v současné britské i americké beletrie. |
| Abstract in different language: | This undergraduate thesis deals with the subjunctive mood in the contemporary English language. It is focused on both the present as well as the past subjunctive. It provides information about its historical development, the forms and the usage. The analysis investigates the frequency of its occurrence as well as the occurrence of alternative constructions in the contemporary British and American fiction. |
