| Abstract: | Tématem diplomové práce je Greenblattova interpretace renesance a objevování Nového světa. Hlavní linií je analýza konceptu nových historiků, se zaměřením na jejich metodické přístupy k výkladu historie, především pak na situaci při objevování Nového světa Evropany. Greenblattova interpretace bude zároveň komparována s názory Michela de Montaigne či Bartolemea de Las Casas. |
| Abstract in different language: | The key topic of this diploma thesis is the interpretation of Renaissance and the discovery of the New World by Stephen Greenblatt. In the thesis the attention is paid to the introduction of the literary-scientific environment at the time of the constitution of the New Historicism. Greenblatt observes the concurrence of two different cultures on the basis of speech acts or on the basis of the conflict of otherness.In the conclusion of the thesis ideas of Stephen Greenblatt and Renaissance philosophers are compared and the look in the contemporary literary-scientific practice. |
