Abstract: Bakalářská práce se zabývá postavením a pravomocemi prezidenta ČR a jejich srovnáním s mnou vybranými parlamentními republikami (Slovenská republika, Rakouská republika, Spolková republika Německo). Práce se věnuje historickému vývoji prezidentských pravomocí od roku 1918. Stěžejní část práce srovnává pravomoci prezidentů napříč ústavami. Další kapitoly popisují volbu prezidenta a míru jeho odpovědnosti.
Abstract in different language: This bachelor´s thesis focuses with the position and the powers of the president of the Czech Republic and their comparison with me selected parliamentary republics (Slovakia, Austria, Germany). This thesis dedicates to the historical progress the powers of the president since 1918. The main part of the thesis compares the powers of the presidents through the constitutiones. Other chapters describe the election of the president and the degree of his responsibility.
