| Abstract: | Stěžejním tématem a cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat činnost premonstrátského řádu a popsat jeho přínos ke vzdělanosti a kultuře na území západních Čech. Premonstráti tepelské kanonie se během své osmisetleté existence, mimo duchovní a hospodářské činnosti, významným způsobem podíleli na vzdělávání. Mimořádně se zasloužili o zřizování školských ústavů, značným přínosem byla jejich vědecko-pedagogická činnost v západních Čechách. |
| Abstract in different language: | The key focus of this thesis lies on a research of the activities of the Premonstratensians Order with the aim to analyse and describe their contributions to the culture and education in Western Bohemia. One of the key areas of focus for Premonstratensians was education. During the eight hundred years of their existence they contributed to the development of education in the area. Amongst other things they initiated establishing of many schools and other institutions. They were involved in the shaping of landscape with a significant impact on the cultivation and agricultural development. Their research and pedagogical activities in Western Bohemia had also a high importance. |
