| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje příčinám úspěchu Liberálně-demokratické strany v parlamentních volbách v roce 2010. Cílem práce je analýza jednotlivých příčin a jejich vyhodnocení. Příčiny jsou rozděleny do dvou kategorií. První kategorie se věnuje příčinám, o které se strana zasadila sama. Jedná se o transformaci strany, volební program a participaci předsedy strany Nicka Clegga v televizních debatách. Druhá kategorie se věnuje vnějším příčinám, především propadu Labouristické strany ve volbách a roli médií, sociálních sítí a průzkumů veřejného mínění. V závěru práce poskytuje vyhodnocení, která kategorie byla pro úspěch strany důležitější. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor thesis deals with the causes of the Liberal Democratic Party's success in the British general election of 2010. The aim of the thesis is to analyse individual causes. The causes are divided into two categories. First category examines inner causes of the success, particularly ideological and organizational transformation of the party, its manifesto and participation of the party's leader Nick Clegg in televised debates. Second category analyses outer causes of the success, especially failure of the Labour Party and the role of media, social networks and opinion polls. As a result the thesis decides which category was more important for the party's success. |
