| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se věnuje charakteristice BRICS jako neformální skupiny v mezinárodní politice. Cíl práce je objasnit podstatu a úlohu neformálních skupin v politice, charakterizovat BRICS jako politickou skupinu a uvést, jakou roli hraje v mezinárodní politice a také, jestli přispívá ke vzniku multipolárního systému. Popisuji, jak se z prvotně čistě ekonomického bloku stává postupně skupina s politickým zaměřením. Uvádím, jaké motivace drží skupinu pohromadě a na základě výzkumu summitů ukazuji agendu a způsoby jejich spolupráce. Práce se zaměřuje na zhodnocení celkové pozice BRICS v mezinárodní politice a jaké faktory brzdí skupinu v naplnění jejích cílů. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main goal of this bachelor thesis was to characterize BRICS as an informal group in international politics and to clarify the nature and role of informal intergovernmental groups in the global system. I have analysed the benefits of informal institutions and why is benefitial to create them. I have defined its role in international politics - whether countries of BRICS stabilize or destabilize the system, and also whether the group contributes to the emergence of a global multipolar politics. I described how and why is purely an economic bloc gradually becoming a group which is focused also on political affairs. I pointed out common features of the group, its differences, strengths and weaknesses and described the mutual political relations between all of the members. I introduced the motivation which holds the group together and showed its ways of cooperation when I analyzed the agenda of their summits. The work aims to evaluate the overall position of the BRICS in international politics and what factors hinder the group in the fulfillment of its objectives. |
