| Abstract: | Diplomová práce se zabývá vztahem mezi Winstonem Churchillem a Franklinem Rooseveltem. Jejich přátelství započalo na začátku druhé světové války, kdy byl Churchill jmenován prvním lordem admirality. Od té doby začala vzájemná korespondence, která se netýkala pouze války, měla také osobní nádech. Jejich sblížení bezpochyby ovlivnilo druhou světovou válku a tehdejší diplomacii. |
| Abstract in different language: | Master thesis is concerned with the relationship between Winston Churchill and Franklin Roosevelt. Their friendship had started in the beginning of the second wordl war, when was Churchill appointed First Lord of Admiralty. From then on the mutual correspondence had started, which was not concerned only with the war, it also had personal tinge. Their rapprochement undoubtedly affected the second world war and contemporary diplomacy. |
