| Abstract: | Práce pojednává o historii Německého divadla v Goethově ulici v Plzni. Zkoumá příčiny a okolnosti jeho vzniku. Současně se zabývá i vztahem mezi českým a německým obyvatelstvem v 19. století. Dále se věnuje výstavbě Německého divadla, jeho úspěchem a později i krachem. V práci můžeme nalézt i informace o Německém domě a Německém divadelním spolku, který obě budovy vlastnil. |
| Abstract in different language: | This work is about the history of the German theatre in Goethe-Street in Pilsen. It explores the reasons and circumstances of the origins. It also deals with the relationship between the Czech and German populations in the 19th century. In the work you can find the informations about the construction of the German theater, its success, and later its failure. We can also find information about the German House and the German Theater Society, which owned both buildings. |
