Abstract in different language: | This paper describes the design, construction, and testing of a high speed cameras as a measuring sensor for position of a fast moving mechanical object. Position is evaluated by detecting the edges of the object. Datasets of these positions then becomes subject to frequency analysis aiming to determine oscillation. The functional prototype is based on virtual instrumentation making use of the LabVIEW developmental environment. The hardware part consists of a high speed video camera, PC with a camera-link frame-rabber. New method for evaluation of oscillation is suitable in range up to hundreds of hertz. The asset of suggested method is its contactless application. It can replace the most common contactless sensors. |
