| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na představení Filipa II. a jeho vztahu k rozvoji věd a umění. Zabývá se mytologizací jeho osoby i celého Španělska. Dále se věnuje objevování Nového světa a využívání přírodního potenciálu z něj. V práci je také zmíněna výstavba paláce El Escorial, jeho sbírky a renesační umělci působící v něm. |
| Abstract in different language: | The main theme of this bachelor thesis is the performance of Philip II and his relationship to the development of science and art. The mythology of his person and of Spain is presented there. It is also devoted to discovering the New World and exploiting its natural potential. The thesis also mentions the construction of the El Escorial Palace, its collection and Renaissance artists working there. |
