| Abstract: | Cílem této práce je překlad vybraného textu z oblasti automobilového průmyslu z anglického jazyka do českého doplněný komentářem a glosářem. Výchozí text je případová studie z oblasti businessu, která popisuje sled událostí v posledních pár desetiletích týkající se největších automobilek ve Spojených státech amerických. Práce se skládá ze dvou hlavních částí. První část je teorie, která se vyjadřuje k problematice translační ekvivalence. Druhá, obsáhlejší část, je samotný překlad výchozího textu. Zahrnuje také sekci s komentářem, která má tři části: makro přístup, mikro přístup a glosář. Originální verze výchozího textu je obsažena v příloze. |
| Abstract in different language: | The objective of this thesis is the translation of a selected text from the field of automotive industry from the English language to Czech language accompanied by commentary and a glossary. The source text is a business case study that describes the sequence of events concerning the US biggest automakers in the past few decades. The thesis consists of two main parts. The first part is the theory commenting on the matter of translation equivalency. The second, larger part is the translation of the source text itself. It also includes the commentary section that has three parts: the macro approach, micro approach and glossary. The original version of the source text is included in the appendices. |
