| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku obezity a metabolického syndromu. V teoretické části jsou obě problematiky rozebrány z několika různých pohledů (definice, diagnostika, léčba atd). V praktické části je popsána metodika, soubor pacientů a výsledky. Tato část je zaměřena na vyhodnocení korelací mezi antropometrickými a metabolickými parametry pacientů. Z celkového souboru vychází nejsilnější korelace u obvodu pasu. Při rozdělení pacientů podle pohlaví jsou u mužů korelace nejsilnější u BMI, u žen pak u obvodu pasu. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor´s thesis is focused on the issue of obesity and metabolic syndrome. In the theoretical part, both issues are analyzed from several different perspectives (definition, diagnosis, treatment etc.). In the practical part, the methodology, the patient group and the results are described. This part is focused on the evaluation of correlations between anthropometric and metabolic parameters of the patients. From the total set, the strongest correlation is for waist circumference. When divided by gender, correlations in men are strongest with BMI, and in women with waist circumference. |
