| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce se zabývá geografickým zhodnocením vývoje bezpečnostní situace v severním pohraničí Indie ve 21. století z pohledu vojenských hrozeb. Jedná se o sporné oblasti Džammú a Kašmír, Ladak a Arunáčalpradéš. Dále je pozornost věnována popisu a vysvětlení prostorového rozložení útoků, konkrétně ozbrojených střetů a teroristických útoků. Nedílnou součástí je i komparace teroristických útoků a ozbrojených střetů, která umožní sledovat vývoj bezpečnostní situace ve vybraném území. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis is a geographical assessment of the evolving security situation in the northern border region of India in the 21st century in terms of military threats. The areas in question are the disputed regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh and Arunachal Pradesh. Further, attention is given to describing and explaining the spatial distribution of attacks, specifically armed clashes and terrorist attacks. A comparison of terrorist attacks and armed clashes is also an integral part of the discussion to track the evolution of the security situation in the selected territory. |
