| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá sledováním vzniku a růstu cínových whiskerů z bezolovnatých povrchových úprav pájkami Sn-3,8Ag-0,7Cu, Sn-4Ag, Sn-1Cu a olovnaté povrchové úpravě pájkou Sn-37Pb. Měděné kupony o rozměru 4x2 cm byly ponořeny do roztavených pájek při teplotě 250 °C po dobu 4 s. Kupony byly následně ohnuté do úhlu 90°. Takto připravené vzorky byly vystaveny teplotě 60 °C po dobu 3000 h. Vzorky byly sledovány pod optickým a elektronovým mikroskopem a u útvarů, které by mohly být cínové whiskery byla provedena prvková analýza. Takto byly identifikovány cínové whiskery rostoucí z povrchových úprav Sn-3,8Ag-0,7Cu a Sn-1Cu. Měly délku desítky až stovky mikrometrů. V případě povrchové úpravy z pájek Sn-4Ag a Sn-37Pb nebyly žádné whiskery identifikovány. |
| Abstract in different language: | The article deals with observation of creation and growth of tin whiskers from surface finish made of lead-free solders Sn-3,8Ag-0,7Cu, Sn-4Ag, Sn-1Cu and lead solder Sn-37Pb. Copper coupons with dimensions 4x2 cm were immersed into the melted solders at temperature 250 °C for 4 s. Coupons with surface finish were subsequently bended into angle 90°. Such prepared samples were put into temperature 60 °C for 3000 h. Samples were observed with optical and electron microscopes. Whisker like formations were tested to element analysis. Tin whiskers were identified onto Sn-3,8Ag-0,7Cu and Sn-1Cu surface finishes. The length of the whiskers varied from tens to hundreds of microns. In case of surface finish made of solder Sn-4Ag and Sn-37Pb tin whiskers were not identified. |
