Abstract:	Bakalářská práce se zabývá překladatelskou teorií a praxí a je rozdělena do tří hlavních částí. První popisuje formy překladů, proces překládání a nastiňuje problematiku funkčních stylů. Druhá část práce je věnována samotnému překladu publicistických článků o New Safe Confinemenet. Poslední část práce tvoří komentář k překladu a glosáře.
Abstract in different language:	This bachelor thesis deals with the translation theory and practice. Thesis is divided into three main parts. First part describes forms and process of translation and functional styles. Second part is devoted to the translation of chosen texts about New Safe Confinement. Third, last part is created by commentary and glossaries.
