| Abstract: | Tato diplomová práce analyzuje genderovou nerovnost ve vybrané společnosti zaměřené na informační technologie. Teoretická část se zabývá historií feminismu, způsoby znevýhodnění žen na pracovním trhu a představuje nejvýznamnější koncepty z oblasti výzkumu genderové situace v managementu. Nabízí také aktuální statistická data o českém trhu práce z pohledu genderu. Praktická část je genderovou analýzou vybrané firmy, přičemž vychází z analýzy interních dokumentů, rozhovorů se zaměstnankyněmi ve vedoucích pozicích a vlastního pozorování. Jednotlivé závěry jsou pak vystaveny srovnání s výsledky genderových výzkumů společnosti McKinsey. |
| Abstract in different language: | This thesis analyzes the gender inequality in a selected company which is focused on information technology. The theoretical part deals with the history of feminism, types of women?s disadvantages in the labour market and presents the most important concepts in the field of gender research in management situations. It also offers current statistical data on the Czech labour market from the perspective of gender. The practical part is a gender analysis of the selected company based on an analysis of internal documents, interviews with female employees in managerial positions and personal observations. Individual findings are then subjected to a comparison with the results of a gender research performed by company McKinsey. |
