Abstract: Práce je zaměřena na ochranu práva na život jak v zákonných ustanoveních, tak v mezinárodních dokumentech. Dotýká se problematiky eutanazie, umělého přerušení těhotenství a převážná část je věnována trestu smrti.
Abstract in different language: This thesis is focused on protecting the right to life as the legal provisions and in international documents. It touches on the issue of euthanasia, abortion and the overwhelming part is devoted to the death penalty.
