| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá australskou zahraniční politikou od druhé poloviny 20. století do současnosti. Cílem práce je nastínit koncept soft power a prostřednictvím analýzy zahraniční politiky a činnosti specializovaných úřadů zjistit, zdali tento druh moci představuje významný prvek australské zahraniční politiky. Dále se cílem práce jeví určit regiony směřování australské soft power. Závěrečná část práce je věnovaná kultuře, vzdělávání, vědecké spolupráci a rozvojové pomoci jako oblastem, na které se Austrálie zaměřuje za účelem budování pozitivního obrazu na mezinárodním poli. |
| Abstract in different language: | The thesis deals with Australian foreign policy since the second half of the twentieth century. The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to introduce the concept of soft power, analyse Australian foreign policy and activities of specialised agencies and consider whether the concept of soft power is a significant part of Australian foreign policy or not. The aim of the thesis is to determine the target regions of projection of Australian soft power as well. In the final part the results of the analyses suggest that culture, education, scientific cooperation and development aid are the areas on which Australia focuses in the process of building its positive image in the world. |
