| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se zabývá charakteristikou mediálního obrazu Vietnamské menšiny v českém tisku. Cílem práce je zjistit, zda-li nedochází k podreprezentaci a stereotypní charakterizaci Vietnamců v médiích denního tisku. Metodologická část vychází z teoretického konceptu mediální konstrukce reality a využívá techniky kvantitativní obsahové analýzy. V rámci výzkumu jsou analyzovány články o Vietnamcích třech nejčtenějších deníků v ČR za období 2005-2013. Jako doplňková metoda je použita kvalitativní analýza vybraných článků, ve kterých jsou interpretovány stereotypy, které se nejčastěji objevují v periodikách. Analýza potvrdila menší prostor vietnamské menšiny v tisku ve srovnání s jinými menšinami žijícími na našem území a negativní stereotypizaci Vietnamců v kontextu kriminality. Zároveň byla prokázána závislost mezi počtem kriminálních článků v jednotlivých letech a postoji k Vietnamcům podle dotazníkového šetření agentury STEM. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor thesis is focused on the media image of Vietnamese in the czech press. The aim of the study is to verify whether there are under-representation and stereotyped characterization of the Vietnamese in the media newspapers. Methodological part is based on theoretical concept of media construction of reality and uses techniques of quantitative content analysis. The research analyzed articles about the Vietnamese in three most widely read newspapers in the Czech Republic for 2005-2013. As a complementary technique is used qualitative analysis for the articles, in which there are the most common stereotypes. The analysis confirmed a smaller area of the Vietnamese minority in the press compared to other minorities living in our country and negative stereotyping of Vietnamese in the context of crime. There was also demonstrate the correlation between the number of criminal articles for each year and attitudes to the Vietnamese based on questionnaire survey by STEM agency. |
