| Abstract: | Atentát na Adolfa Hitlera z 20. července 1944 byl jedním z nejvíce ambiciózních a nejlépe připravených pokusů odpůrců režimu k odstranění říšského kancléře a vůdce nacistického Německa. Nejednalo se o jediný atentát na osobu Adolfa Hitlera, ale patřil k těm nejvýznamnějším. Tato diplomová práce analyzuje německý protinacistický odboj, v období před vypuknutím i během druhé světové války, s důrazem na neúspěšný atentát z 20. července 1944. Atentát provedený skupinou kolem plukovníka Clause von Stauffenberga ve městě Rastenburgu v tzv. Vlčím doupěti. Hlavním cílem této práce je zodpovězení souboru otázek týkajících se atentátu z 20. července 1944 a jeho odkazu v německé společnosti po roce 1945 ve Spolkové republice Německo a v Německé demokratické republice. |
| Abstract in different language: | Assassination attempt on Adolf Hitler on the 20th of July 1944 was one of the most ambitious and best-prepared attempts to eliminate the regime Reich Chancellor and the leader of Nazi Germany. The main goal of the assassination attempt was to seize political control of Germany and its armed forces from the Nazi Party in order to obtain peace with the western Allies as soon as possible. The main issue of this graduation thesis is to answer a set of questions related to the German resistance movement against Nazism specifically assassination attempt on the 20th of July 1944 and its legacy after 1945 in the Federal Republic of Germany and the German Democratic Republic. |
