Abstract in different language: | The focus of this diploma thesis is to study the usage of prophetic medicine among young people of Tunisia and Egypt aged between 15 35. More specifically, the goal of this study is threefold. Firstly it aims to find out the level of awareness of prophetic medicine among the youth. Secondly, the level of trust in this method of treatment is examined. Finally, the frequency of the usage of prophetic medicine by the younger population is ascertained in detail. The methodology used in this study is qualitative, and the main tool used in order to collect our data was a structured questionnaire with open-end questions. The results of this thesis are as follow. The level of awareness reaches the same level for the young members of the two countries. Both, Tunisians and Egyptians were strongly aware of prophetic medicine. Concerning their level of trust, the thesis confirmed that the millenials had a medium level of trust in the practices and efficiency of prophetic medicine. Finally, and most interestingly, even if prophetic medicine is well known and fairly trusted, this study found out that it is still rarely practiced by the younger generation. |
