Abstract: | V bakalářské práci která spadá do teoretického rámce výzkumu sem se věnovala komparaci dvou autorů klíčových pro sociálně teoretické myšlení: Michelu Foucaultovi a Karlu Marxovi. |
Abstract in different language: | In the Bachelor thesis, which is part of theoretical framework of research, I deal with comparison of two key authors of social theoretical thinking: Michel Foucault and Karel Marx. The centerpiece of the thesis is Foucault´s revision of Marx´s concept of power, which is (from Marx´s perspective) essentially associated with Marx´s theory of ownership and class-capitalist repression. In Foucault´s work I focus on his concept of power in the so-called middle period of his work (embedded in texts such as Discipline and Punish, Society Must Be Defended, The Will to Knowledge....). In this phase of his work, Foucault revises Marx´s concept of power as ownership, which is traditionally centered in institutions or classes. Foucault does not deny the existence of inequalities, but draws attention to the interdependence between the controlling and controlled and offers a new point of view. He thinks of power as a property and relationship, as something that is omnipresent and multidimensional and capable of bringing human body in motion. According to Foucault, as described in Criminal Procedure Code, it does not endorse, it is intentional and non-subjective and is both "political tribune" and also "invisible" to the public. |
