| Abstract: | Diplomová práce porovnává vybrané softwarové produkty pro monitorování webovými službami. Dále představuje vlastnosti a výhody softwaru Nagios a dává návod, jak naprogramovat vlastní monitorovací pluginy do tohoto systému. V následující části seznamuje čtenáře s poštovním serverem Kerio Connect a především se zaměřuje na jeho Administrační API využívané pro pokročilou správu a integraci produktů třetích stran. Práce také popisuje naprogramovanou sadu pluginů softwaru Nagios monitorující stav poštovního serveru Kerio Connect přes jeho Administrační rozhraní. V závěru práce jsou uvedeny postupy a výsledky testování sady pluginů na poštovních serverech Kerio Connect. |
| Abstract in different language: | This diploma thesis gives an overview of monitoring network devices and system resources via web services. It analyses features and advantages of software Nagios and describes how to program user defined monitoring plugins. In the next part it presents mailserver Kerio Connect with focus to Administration API, which is used for server management and third-party products integration. It also provides specification of plugins features and their behaviour, these plugins which are monitoring the state of mailservers Kerio Connect using Administration API. Methods and results from plugins set testing are listed in the last part of thesis. |
