Abstract: Bakalářská práce se zabývá psychologickými přístupy k náboženství, které jsou přiblíženy pomocí dvou rozdílných teorií. Úvodní část práce vymezuje rozsah oborů psychologie, náboženství a psychologie náboženství. Další dvě kapitoly představují teorie W. Jamese a S. Freuda a analyzují jejich stěžejní myšlenky. V závěrečné části práce je provedena komparace těchto přístupů a zhodnocen jejich přínos pro psychologii náboženství.
Abstract in different language: The Bachelor thesis deals with psychological perspectives on religion which are described by means of two different theories. The introductory part of the thesis defines extent of fields of psychology, religion and psychology of religion. Next two chapters introduce W. James and S. Freud and analyze their crucial ideas. In the final part of the thesis a comparison of their approaches is outlined and their merit to psychology of religion is appraised.
