| Abstract: | Bakalářská práce se bude zabývat invazí na Krétu, neboli operací Merkur během druhé světové války. Úvod práce bude zaměřen na nastínění situace před provedením invaze. Hlavní část práce bude začínat Hitlerovým rozkazem č. 28 z 25. dubna 1941 a bude postupovat po důležitých bodech operace až do 31. května, jako jsou konkrétní útoky a invaze, obranné a útočné pozice, velitelé zúčastněných stran, výsadkáři, letecké jednotky a sbory. V závěru práce bude zhodnocení celého konfliktu, důsledky operace pro státy spojené s invazí a zaměření na ztráty na životech. |
| Abstract in different language: | The bachelor work will deal with invasion of Crete or operation Merkur during the second world war.The introduction of the work will be focused on outlining the situation before the invasion.The major part of the work will begin with Hitler's Directive No. 28 on April 25, 1941 and will follow important milestones until May 31, such as specific attacks and invasions, defensive and offensive positions, commanders of the parties, paratroopers, airborne units and corps . At the end of the work will be the evaluation of the whole conflict, the consequences of the operation for the states connected with the invasion and the focus on the loss of life. |
