Abstract: | Tématem této práce je porovnat postkomunistické levicové strany (nástupnické strany - Communist successor parties) ve třech vybraných zemí, pro svou práci jsem si vybral země: Česká republika, Polsko a Slovensko. |
Abstract in different language: | The topic of this thesis is to compare post-communist leftwing parties (Communist successor parties) in three particular countries. For my thesis I have chosen following countries: the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia. All of the mentioned countries were under the influence of the Soviet Union during the whole second half of the 20th century. In each country I focused on the development, leadership, political programme and parties which have split off. Whereas I found out in my thesis that both political parties SLD (Poland) and SDĽ (Slovakia) have oriented to social-democracy, we can still consider KSČM being a communistic party. Except KSČM the rest of the parties participated in two cases of decision process. Nevertheless the most stable party is KSČM which has, so far, always received more than 10% of votes. SLD has gained smaller number of votes and has replaced several leaders of the party during recent years. SDĽ was not able to settle up with the Slovakian party system and in 2004 the party ceased to exist through uniting with the political party Smer. |
