| Abstract: | Práce se zabývá dominantním postavením JAR v rámci regionu jižní Afriky. Představeny jsou základní předpoklady, jež JAR k postavení regionálního hegemona má, od historických vlivů přes geostrategickou pozici až po současné aktivní zapojení do různých regionálních a kontinentálních organizací. Od své transformace v roce 1994 JAR čelí mnoha vnitropolitickým problémům, ale zároveň se jí daří rozvíjet regionální integraci a posilovat své postavení v rámci kontinentu. JAR také začala společně s dalšími středními mocnostmi (např. Indií nebo Brazílií) promlouvat do světového dění. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor work deals with dominant position of the Republic of South Africa (RSA) within the region of South Africa. Basic preconditions for her position are historical background, geostragical position and participation in a various regional and continental organizations. Since the political transition in 1994 the RSA has been facing a lot of interstate problems, but on the other hand it has successfully developed regional integration and strengthen her position within the whole African continent. The RSA has also begun to have some influence in world affairs, especially with other middle power (e. g. India or Brazil). |
