| Abstract: | Práce se věnuje Spojeným arabským emirátům a emirátu Dubaj. Nejdříve jsou uvedeny geografické aspekty Spojených arabských emirátů. Následně se práce věnuje historickému vývoji města Dubaj. Následně popisuje podrobný historický vývoj SAE. Dále práce představuje vládnoucí rok al-Maktúm a jeho představitele od prvního vládce až po korunní prince emirátu Dubaj. |
| Abstract in different language: | The work is firstly focused on the geographic description of the United Arab Emirates. Secondly, the historical development is described including the transformation of the region from a small seaport city to a worldwide capital. The last part of the paper it is focused on the leading Al Maktoum family and their most important members. The biographical facts are linked with the historical background and the overall view of Emirate Dubai is accomplished. |
