| Abstract: | Práce rozebírá motivy a rituály smrti v alžbětinském dramatu v kontextu dané doby. Pro přesnější analýzu popisuje dobový kontext, reformaci a prostor alžbětinského dramatu, následně analyzuje vybraná díla od Williama Shakespeara, Christophera Marlowa a Thomase Kyda. Závěr práce je věnován jejich komparaci s akcentací na motiv smrti v jejich dramatech a porovnáním s dobovým kontextem. |
| Abstract in different language: | The work analyzes the motifs and rituals of death in Elizabethan drama in the context of the time. For a more accurate analysis, it describes the contemporary context, the Reformation and the space of Elizabethan drama, then analyzes selected works by William Shakespeare, Christopher Marlowe and Thomas Kyd. The conclusion of the work is devoted to their comparison with the emphasis on the motifs of death in their dramas and comparison with the contemporary context. |
