| Abstract: | Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem Rudolfa II. k Praze. První kapitola popisuje Rudolfovu osobnost, španělskou výchovu a jeho nástup k moci s počátky vlády. Druhá kapitola uvádí důvody Rudolfova přestěhování se do Prahy, podobu Prahy roku 1583, dobovou atmosféru, školství a vzdělanost a architektonickou činnost. Třetí kapitola má za účel vylíčit kulturu, kterou Rudolf dokázal během svého pražského pobytu vybudovat. Je zde proto popsána tradice sběratelství a mecenášství, pražský císařský dvůr, umění a alchymistická činnost. V poslední kapitole je uveden dopad Rudolfovy vlády na Prahu a její úpadek po císařově smrti. |
| Abstract in different language: | This bachelor´s work deals with Rudolf II. relationship to Prague. The first chapter describes the personality of Rudolf, the Spanish upbringing and his rise to power with the beginnings of government. The second chapter presents the reasons Rudolf´s relocation to Prague, the appearance of Prague in 1583, the period atmosphere, the education and scholarship and the architectural activity. The third chapter has the purpose portray the culture, which Rudolf proves during his stay in Prague construct. There is therefore described the tradition of collecting and patronage, the Prague Imperial court, the art and the alchemical activity. In the final chapter is outlined impact of Rudolf´s government on Prague and its decline after emperor´s death. |
